April 28, 2004 --- Penton Technology Media, a division of Penton Media, Inc., announced today 42 finalists for the third annual e-Pro Magazine Apex Awards for Lotus. Winners will be announced at The View ADMIN 2004 in Boston on May 12.
The Apex Awards recognize industry leaders who have made valuable contributions to their customers and the market, said Wayne Madden, publisher of e-Pro Magazine. After a rigorous judging process, an independent panel of judges featuring editors and industry professionals have narrowed the field down to these finalists.
The finalists in the Editors’ Choice Application Development category are DLI.tools for ThingFactory, Teamstudio for Teamstudio for Notes, and Trilog Group for FlowBuilder. The finalists in the Readers’ Choice Application Development category are MartinScott Consulting for NoteMan, SWING Software for SWING Integrator, and Teamstudio for Teamstudio for Notes.
The finalists in the Editors’ Choice General Application Software category are Automation Centre for Tracker Suite, Genius Inside for Genius Enterprise Project, and Interchange Solutions for Maximizer Enterprise for Notes. The finalists in the Readers’ Choice General Application Software category are iEnterprises for iExtensions CRM, Interchange Solutions for Maximizer Enterprise for Notes, and NOVAData Information Systems for GroupForce Human Resources.
The finalists in the Editors’ Choice Messaging and Collaboration category are Gallatin Technologies for kNEWS Professional, LEGATO Software for EmailXtender, and MartinScott Consulting for WirelessMail. The finalists in the Readers’ Choice Messaging and Collaboration category are Extracomm Technologies for ExtraFax, NOVAData Information Systems for GroupForce Office BOT, and Research in Motion for BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
The finalists in the Editors’ Choice Portals and Content Management category are Bowstreet for Bowstreet Portlet Factory, iCore effective for DocPlace, and Shireburn Software for Integra for Notes. The finalists in the Readers’ Choice Portals and Content Management category are Bowstreet for Bowstreet Portlet Factory, Percussion Software for Lyrix, and Shireburn Software for Integra for Notes.
The finalists in the Editors’ Choice Security category are CipherTrust for IronMail, Extracomm Technologies for SecurTrac, and Sybari Software for Antigen. The finalists in the Readers’ Choice Security category are CipherTrust for IronMail, Extracomm Technologies for SecurTrac, and NetScreen Technologies for NetScreen Secure Access Appliances.
The finalists in the Editors' Choice Services category are Connectria for Connectria MyAdmin, MartinScott Consulting for Application Performance Tuning, and metaLogic for Lotus Workplace Partner. The finalists in the Editors’ Choice Systems Administration category are Binary Tree for Common Migration Tool for Domains, GSX Groupware Solutions for GSX Monitor, and Idokorro Mobile for Mobile Admin. The finalists in the Readers’ Choice Systems Administration category are ICODEX Software for INTEGRATE!People, Percussion Software for ServerAdmin Plus, and Sherpa Software for Mail Attender.
In addition to announcing the winners of the above categories at ADMIN, e-Pro Magazine will also present the 2004 Industry Driver award at this time. The winner of the Industry Driver award will be determined by magazine staff and will be based on creativity, use of technology, and innovation of product.
