MartinScott develops websites for Kicking Man Charity Kickball Tournament
MartinScott is providing pro bono web development services as the official web development partner for the First Annual Kicking Man charity kickball tournament and music festival, sponsored by the World Adult Kickball Association (WAKA) and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, DC (RMHC). Kicking Man is an all-day 64 team adult kickball tournament and multi-artist live music festival, to be held August 23, 2003, in Leesburg, Virginia. Proceeds benefit RMHC.MartinScott designed and developed the public website as well as a private intranet used for comprehensive event management. Lotus Domino is used for all web information capturing for teams, sponsors, and volunteers, as well as meeting and action item tracking, discussion boards, and other elements of structured event management information.
Co-founding partner at MartinScott, Jamie Magee, is also a second year captain and third year member of the BlackTop Allstars (BTA) team in the Virginia Dominion division of WAKA. In 2002, BTA finished in second place out of 24 WAKA teams in the State of Virginia.
